Travel Awards Given to Junior Scientists by ICAM

ICAM (the Institute for Complex Adaptive Matter, http://www.icam-i2cam.org/?page_id=2) accepts applications from junior scientist for travel award -both within the US and from abroad to the US (especially those from emerging nations are encouraged to apply).  The amount is $2000 from abroad, $1500 in the US.

Note that most awards are made to those applicants from ICAM member institutions (http://www.icam-i2cam.org/?page_id=4) but some exceptional applications from non-member institutions will also be considered.  You are strongly encouraged to apply.

Application deadline: May 1, 2009 If applications are submitted to H. Kojima kojima@physics.rutgers.edu before this deadline, he will follow up with the ICAM office to assess the likelihood for travel support being awarded.
